Reclassifications

Working out of Class: Employees who feel that they are working out of class on a permanent basis (six months or more) should contact SLOCEA to initiate the reclassification process. Depending on your situation, you may need to fill out a "JAWS" (Job Analysis Work Sheet) form to submit to the Personnel Department.

Revising Job Specifications: Employees who feel that the job specifications for their position are inaccurate or out of date, should contact SLOCEA. We can help you address your issues with the job specs with the Personnel Analyst who handles your Department.

Career Advancement: Employees who feel that they meet with minimum qualifications for a higher position should contact SLOCEA so that we can request a career advancement for you.
