PETITION SERVED ON BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
On April 23, 2019, SLOCEA Vice President, Jim Mallon, served a petition on the Board of Supervisors during a regularly scheduled meeting (See above photos) The signatures on the petition equate to nearly two-thirds of the SLOCEA membership and one-third of the entire county employee population.
Employees circulated the petition to coincide with SLOCEA's return to the negotiating table following the first ever labor stirke by county employees from December 11-13, 2018.
