Reconition Awards Nominations Now Being Accepted!
The San Luis Obispo County Employees’ Association’s Awards Review Committee is now accepting nominations for SLOCEA Member of the Year 2019 Award and Outstanding Service Award 2019. Any SLOCEA member may nominate another deserving member for either or both prestigious awards. Please help us recognize the hard work and dedication of our hard-working members. Use the below links to access the nomination forms for each of the awards categories. You will then be able to submit your completed form electronically.
SLOCEA Member of the Year 2019 Award
The SLOCEA Member of the Year award may be awarded one time annually, to a member of the Association, who has demonstrated outstanding commitment to, and/or extraordinary support of the SLOCEA membership through involvement in Association programs and/or activities, during a particular year.
Outstanding Service Award 2019
The Outstanding Service Award may be awarded to members for actions or accomplishments, which exemplify the highest standards of their profession and/or public service in general. Such actions or accomplishments may be demonstrated through a single significant action or accomplishment, or through multiple actions and/or accomplishments that are sustained over time.
Examples could be serving on a SLOCEA committee or volunteering in the community, such as beach cleanup or a local nonprofit or church organization.
