Ellen Beraud TV ad Features Striking SLO County Employees
SLOCEA's endorsed candidate for the 5th District, Ellen Beraud, has a new TV campaign ad playing on local stations, which features hundreds of County employees who went on strike for the first time in the County's history, during December 2018.
County employees went on strike for the first time on December 11-13, 2018, following the County's bad faith conduct at the negotiating table, and related imposition of terms and conditions, also for the first time in the County's history.
Ellen Beraud is seeking to unseat incumbent, Debbie Arnold, who is generally thought to be unsupportive of County employees and their families.
