Summer Childcare
The Summer Childcare Reimbursement Program is available to assist eligible County employees with their childcare expenses during the summer months. This County-funded, SLOCEA-administered program is available to all permanent employees in the Public Services, Trades, Supervisory, Confidential, and Clerical bargaining units. Eligible children must be younger than 14 years old and not yet attending high school.
The 2024 Summer Childcare Reimbursement Program will open APRIL 1st!
The deadline for submitting applications is JUNE 30, 2024.
Reimbursement is available to approved applicants for the period of June 1 to August 31, 2024.
